Frequently Asked Questions

Typical air cargo transit times range from 1 to 3 business days, depending on the origin and destination airports, carrier schedules, and whether the service is standard, express, or consolidated.

Key documents include:

  • Commercial Invoice(CI): To be sent via email by the shipper/seller.
  • Air Waybill (AWB): To be issued by American Cargo Export (ACE) or any of our authorized agent at the point of Pick-up.
  • Packing List: To be send by the Shipper electronically. Packing list must include: Shipper and consignee details, Invoice number and date, Description of goods, Quantity and weight (gross/net), Dimensions and number of packages, Marks and numbers for identification, Handling instructions (if needed).
  • Export Declaration (EEI/SED) (if over $2,500 value): The Export Declaration—specifically the Electronic Export Information (EEI), formerly known as the Shipper’s Export Declaration (SED)—is filed by the U.S. Principal Party in Interest (USPPI) or their authorized agent, in this case American Cargo Export (ACE).

Important Note: Additional documents may be required depending on commodity type or destination country (e.g., CE certification, licenses). You're to be updated by our agents or representatives should there be any additional requirement.

While the carrier is not responsible under Incoterms, American Cargo Export (ACE) offer "DTP" (Duties and Taxes Paid) or customs brokerage services where: The American Cargo Export (ACE) pays duties and taxes upfront to the customs authority at the destination, then invoices the seller (exporter) for reimbursement, based on pre-arranged terms. This gives you edge over the hustle of International shipping and allows the seller to fulfill DDP obligations without having a legal or physical presence in the destination country.

There are no fixed limits, but pricing and handling depend on whether the shipment is: General cargo (standard size and weight). Oversized or overweight cargo (may need special handling or palletization) We calculate chargeable weight using actual weight or dimensional weight, whichever is greater.

Yes, American Cargo Export (ACE) provides real-time tracking via the Air Waybill number. You can monitor movement through airline portals or our integrated logistics platform.

A tracking number or ID is a combination of numbers and possibly letters that uniquely identifies your shipment for national or international tracking. Usually, the shipper or online shop is able to provide the tracking number or ID. If you have ordered a product in an online shop, the confirmation email or shipment tracking notification often contains the tracking number or ID. If not, please contact your shipper or online shop.

Tracking usually appear 24-48 hours after receiving the Track and Trace ID. In general, once the shipment has been picked up from your facility, a tracking number will automatically be sent to you via e-mail.

Please make sure you entered the correct tracking number in the correct format: Check for minimum length of 5 characters, and if there are any special characters in your input. Tab, comma, space and semicolon are understood as separators between several tracking IDs. If your tracking ID is not working, please contact our customer service immediately.
